As a principal architect, I work with clients, delegate duties to staff, and have organizational responsibilities within the office as well. At OAK, my main duties are discussing requirements with clients, negotiating contracts, collaborating with construction engineers, and reporting to clients. I also, manage and supervise all related activities of a staff of architects and technicians. I manage the development of architectural designs and preliminary construction details. Ensures architectural design work is completed on time and adheres to the established specifications and standards. I create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. I have more than 20 years of experience. In fact, to be successful in this specific job, you must have excellent communication and leadership skills, in addition to being a talented designer.
I have a bachelor degree of architecture from Damascus University, Syria and a master degree in Urbanism from the Institut d’Urbanisme de Paris, Creteil University, Paris France, 1994. I have a long professional experience as an architect in Syria, France and Kuwait.
